A non-profit civil foundation established as an extension of the legacy of His Royal Highness Prince Mutib bin Abdulaziz Al Saud—may God have mercy on him. It embodies his will through an institutional model that directs giving toward sustainable benefit.

The Foundation bases its work on the Science of Giving methodology, which combines human values with data-driven analysis. It focuses on understanding needs, setting priorities, and directing resources efficiently toward impactful initiatives, strengthening public benefit and sustaining that benefit over time.

The Foundation supports projects and initiatives in the areas of mosques, water giving, debts and diyah, and charity and public benefit, in accordance with the purposes of the will and the Foundation’s priorities.

Grant applications are submitted by emailing a support request letter and the required documents to the Foundation’s official email address: info@mutib.org. Applications are reviewed in accordance with the approved policies and criteria.

Non-profit organizations and entities that qualify under the approved grant policies and controls may apply for support, provided their work aligns with the Foundation’s areas of focus.

The essential documents include the organization’s license, an IBAN certificate, a governance report, the project or initiative document, and a support request letter. The Foundation may request additional documents depending on the nature of the project or its review stage.

Applications are assessed against criteria including alignment with the purposes of the will, demonstrated need, feasibility, expected impact, sustainability, and implementation efficiency.

The review period varies according to the nature of the project and the completeness of the required information and documents.

Applicant organizations may contact the Foundation to ask about the status of their application during the review and assessment stages.

Common reasons include misalignment with the Foundation’s grant areas or the purposes of the will, failure to meet essential requirements, or lower priority compared with other applications.

The Foundation operates through a governance framework that includes policies, regulations, oversight committees, and institutional disclosure, strengthening transparency, accountability, and sound decision-making.
